montana meets a 2-yr old adrenaline junkie

montana so far.

first night we stayed in bismarck, nd. as we were walking down the hall, I asked Justin what room number it was. he didn't say anything so I'm wondering...what's with the hesitation...then he slowly says with a big sigh "314". I squealed with delight as he knew i would. it's our number. the date we first started dating: march 14.
Fort Peck Lake and Dam in Montana.
bottom of glacier national park on our way to the east entrance.
had to stop for cow crossing.
beginning of the going to the sun road. st. mary lake.
pretty rocks. i may or may not have taken a few. water falling off the rock onto the road. taking as we drove past.
another view of st. mary lake.
justin scouting for sheep or goats on the mountainside.
poor thing fell asleep during the drive thru the park. she was so exhausted.
taken just after Logan Pass on the curvy road. we actually drove down it, turned around and went back up because justin wanted to again. this was taken on the way up with my camera/hand out the window and pointing down.
 view from logan pass.
there was a trail that followed the cliffs (i think they're called the Garden Wall?) around with straight steep dropoff. lexi wasn't phased once at how high it was. I made justin carry her the entire time. i didn't trust her enough to try to run off the side.
can you find justin and lexi?
can you still find justin and lexi?
a view looking down from the trail. can't even see the road, it's below the rocks.
down at the bottom by lake mcdonald.
heading to whitefish. gorgeous sun. the sun doesn't fully set here until like 10:30 i think they said. it's 10pm now and pretty much almost completely down.
most two year olds are scared of heights and nervous to do anything on their own, right? not this one. I've always said she was going to be an adrenaline junkie just like her 2nd cousin Sam. She wants it higher and faster. always. not scared ever. fearless is an understatement.
lexi saw and said she must do. she doesn't take no for an answer either. we have our hands full with her. the ride has a min weight of 30 lbs. luckily the owner lady said she could still do it since she's only 28 lbs. i don't know what we would have done if she said no.
trying to distract her with face painting afterwards bc she wanted to go again.
it didn't work so well, she's still staring at it next to the face painting booth.
yup, second time around. she wanted to go a 3rd time, but we finally got her to leave...somewhat quietly.
yeah...everyone was like "holy cow, look at that little girl, she's so fearless!" tell me about it. she's at the top and she was screaming to go HIGHER. ugh. she will be the death of me.
