over the hill and through the woods....

sometimes my favorite moments come from the most spontaneous ones. i just finished working for the day and came upstairs to find a house full of people. the snow was falling and liam was eyeing up the outdoors as big sister was bundling up to head outside. there was no way they were leaving him behind. he's a boy, lover of the outdoors and things that go vroom. he smiled all the way to the cabin during the ranger ride and i taught him to try to catch snowflakes on his tongue. just a quick trip to the cabin but that's all we needed for some much needed giggles.
